I do not love you.............

Started by SueAllen Dec 10, 2012. 0 Replies

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz, or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off. I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul. I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers; thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body. I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.Continue

One moment in time

“The past has no power over the present moment.”

- Eckhart Tolle

Whoever controls the media, controls the mind.
Jim Morrison

Life is beautiful, & a gift from the highest. We travel through life on a mission to find

what love & goodness are.  We are here on a journey to discover and to learn, in
order to complete and create our very own mission statement. "Why am I here"
many ask.  The answer is always in front of us.  We may not recognize it
because often it presents it'self as a loss.  Loss, which creates a state of confusion,
and unless we allow ourselves to mourn our losses , our mission cannot reveal
it's self.  We become angry, we blame, we plead........... until we remember the
beauty, until we see the wonder that surrounds us, no matter how big or small, we find
the path & we receive that gift, our mission to share that beauty, in what ever way
we are possible.  That is life.
"The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow.  but the things we cannot
see now will last forever"  2 Cor.  4:  (message)

Sue Rosen “I Believe in Miracles. Do You?" - “I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles." -Audrey Hepburn

I love that quote, but what is a miracle? Have you ever experienced a miracle? Do you believe in synchronicity, or that everything happens for a reason or that there are no coincidences? What exactly is a miracle? Well, it's a surprising and welcome event not explicable by natural or scientific laws. It is considered to be divine. It is a marvel! It is a wonder! Join Sue Rosen in exploring the mystical beauty of miracles.

A circle is the reflection of eternity. It has no beginning and it has no end - and if you put several circles over each other, then you get a spiral.
Maynard James Keenan

Some birds are not meant to be caged, that’s all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.

Stephen King

Sometimes

It's not always clear, and even so I find my way,

through the mist or the fog, the rain that sometimes

tries to breath and cleanse my spirit.  I cannot doubt…

But  I can't, no matter how many times  I try to want to inhale, exhale..................I CANNOT BREATHE WITHOUT YOU, I cannot fill enough airspace or speed for that oxygen, so pure and unadulterated to float me into sensual existence, to make me see that I do shine........breathe, you tell me, but I cannot…

THE CURVE OF AN ARM

Posted by SueAllen on November 10, 2013 at 8:08am 0 Comments

There are moments during life when a startling but marvelous experience leaps into mind as though from another world. The magic that calls it forth—as though someone had whispered ‘open sesame’ that rolls the stone back from the hidden treasure—is so often so fleeting as to be forgotten in the joy of the experience. It may be a thin cadence of music; a skylark bursting into song; the splash of a giant wave; a flute played by moonlight. It may be a grand harmony of sound, peaceful or awe…

Madness

Posted by SueAllen on June 23, 2013 at 1:34pm 0 Comments

“Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal…

Beach spirit

The sea was rough,  my mind, distracted.  I wonder,

do the waves recognize me?  If I could be a dream,

I would be still , and be me, if i could wish upon a star, I

would wish for me, if I could be a grain of sand, I

would live in a castle, and I would always know that

spirit embrace, I would love me, the sea & you.

Spirit of the Sea

I  took a walk along the shore

To clear my mind about the day,

I saw a man I'd seen before

As I approached, he slipped away...

I knew his face from years ago,

His smile stays with me ever more

His eyes, they guide me through the haze

And give me shelter from the storm...

As I walk I can feel him,

Always watching over…
